Terms and Conditions
MAKING A RESERVATION
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to make a reservation. All guests under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
CANCELLATION
If you have to cancel your booking with us we will require the following notice:
- 1 to 5 rooms - before 12noon, 24 hours prior to arrival
- 6 to 10 rooms - 7 days
- 11 to 15 rooms - 14 days
- 16+ rooms - 31 days
If we receive a cancellation notice in less than these stated periods, you will be liable for 100% of the total room booking cost.
Conference and Function bookings may be cancelled without charge 28 days prior. Any Conference and function cancelled 15 working days before the actual meeting date will incure 50% charge of the total booking, cancellation 7 days prior to the date will be liable for the total cost of the booking. Conference and Function food and Equipment must be pre ordered at least 5 working days prior to the event.
CHILDREN AND EXTRA BEDS
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.
Children’s travel cots are available - please let us know if you require one during your stay
MEAL TIMES
- BREAKFAST - Monday to Friday served from 7am until 9.30am and on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays it is between 7.00 am - 10.00am
- LUNCH - our Light Bites menu is available from 11am to 5pm daily.
- DINNER - from 5.00pm until 9.30pm every evening
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Your credit card details are held to guarantee your booking. Payment will be taken at 6.30am the day prior to arrival. In the event of you cancelling before 12 noon the day prior to arrival you will receive a refund.
From the end of May 2022 we will no longer be accepting cash for payments of reservations. After the 1st June we will only be accepting credit card payments for reservations. Cash will still be accepted in the bar and restaurant.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not comply.
This does not apply to guests who have pre-paid or wish to pay by credit or debit card on arrival.
TAXES
All Rates include VAT at the current rate. A city tax is not applicable. A service charge is not applicable.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Check in is 2pm and check out is 11am.
CAR PARKING
We have over 100 parking spaces, all free of charge.
The hotel does not accept any responsibility for damage to, or theft from, or theft of parked vehicles.
SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Hotel including guest bedrooms. if a guest is found to have been smoking in their room there is a compularsy charge of £150.00 for deep cleaning. The covering of the smoke alarms is a criminal offence!
GUEST BEHAVIOUR
The Hotel reserves the right to terminate a booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund in the event of behaviour considered by Management to be unacceptable.
No wines, spirits or beers may be brought into the Hotel by clients, their guests or representatives for consumption on the premises without the express consent of the Hotel for which a charge may be made.
The person/Company making the booking will be responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests and will be charged for rectification.
ANIMALS/PETS
We only allow service animals on the property.
EVENTS & WEDDINGS
All children must be supervised by a resposible adults at all times.
HOTEL LIABILITY
Other than death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Hotel, the Hotels liability to the client is limited to the price of the booking.
The Hotel does not accept any liability for loss or damage to guest’s property except to the extent covered under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.
